ExpoElectronica once again confirmed the status of the largest and most high-tech exposition of the electronics industry in Russia and the EAEU

From April 11 to April 13, 2023 ExpoElectronica - the 25th Anniversary International Exhibition of Electronics: components and technologies, materials and equipment, embedded systems and turnkey solutions was held at the Crocus Expo IEC with great success.
ExpoElectronica is the largest exhibition of the electronics industry in terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors in Russia and the EAEU.
For over 25 years, ExpoElectronica has been a key business event in the industry, presenting the entire electronics manufacturing chain. The exhibition gathers for three days developers, manufacturers and distributors of electronic components, materials and technologies, end electronic systems, end users, service organizations, integrators and other industry representatives interested in promoting and purchasing relevant products.
This year the exhibition was visited by 21,063 specialists from 23 countries and 74 regions of Russia. This is a record attendance for the entire history of the exhibition, which reflects the increased importance of the radio electronic industry for Russia, the importance of obtaining up-to-date information for specialists and the importance of international cooperation between foreign companies and Russian electronic industry enterprises.
The exhibition attracted 11,492 companies with specialists whose aim was to solve business cases by gathering the most up-to-date information and searching for new partners, all of which were successfully accomplished. 10,844 specialists visited the exhibition for the first time.

446 companies from more than 30 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as from Belarus, China, Armenia, UAE, Singapore, Serbia, and Turkey took part in the exhibition as exhibitors. Within the framework of the exhibition, the products of 276 Russian manufacturers and suppliers were successfully presented. 80 companies presented their products at the exhibition for the first time.

The exhibition was marked by the large international presence, with numerous exhibitors and visitors hailing from the People's Republic of China to meet with their Russian customers and present their products at the exhibition. Representatives of 118 companies held effective negotiations with Russian customers on site.
This collaboration between two countries is of great importance to the industry.
Visitors were impressed by the substantial expansion of the exposition, as a new section introduced in the exhibition "Embedded systems and turnkey solutions". This year, within the framework of this section, industrial and special-purpose computing equipment, video surveillance systems, automated workstations and computing systems for mobile use, highly reliable embedded and fanless systems, laptops, monoblocs, sensor equipment, software and much more were presented.
As part of the new section of the exhibition "Embedded Systems and Turnkey Solutions", the debut of Russian robotics took place. For the first time, in a strategic partnership with the Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems, the Robotics section was organized, within which the participants and partners of the Consortium presented a wide range of domestic robotic solutions in the following areas: industrial robotics, robotics technologies and components, microelectronics, intelligent control systems and technical vision, UAV, medical, transport, underwater and educational robotics. 19 companies presented their products within the section, which already on the first day highly appreciated the level of the exhibition and the results of participation and confirmed their intention to develop this cooperation.

Business programme:
The ExpoElectronica exhibition was accompanied by a three-day business programme. More than 1,100 unique listeners attended 36 events with the participation of 130 speakers - industry experts.
This year, the main business programme was held at two content locations: the Main Arena and the Robo Arena.
The events of the Main Arena were held with the support of the exhibition partners - key Consortiums, Associations and Innovation Centers. Among them: Basis Consortium of equipment and technologies for high-tech manufacturing, Automotive Electronic Devices and Telematics Consortium, Telecommunication Technologies Consortium, Industrial Innovations Association, Electronics Developers and Manufacturers Association, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Skolkovo Innovation Center, Computing technology” and the Association of LEDs and Systems based on them.
The business programme of the Robo Arena was supported by the Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems.
New areas of the business programme were events on robotics, industrial electronics, software and hardware systems, and start-ups in the electronics industry. The events were attended by representatives of industry associations and consortiums, as well as representatives of federal authorities: Andrey Zarenin, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.
At the Main Arena, industry experts discussed the prospects for the development of the electronics industry, the development of various market segments, industrial electronics issues, international cooperation, software and hardware systems, profitable electronics production, and much more.
At the Robo Arena, within the framework of round tables and sessions, industry leaders considered the issues of financial support tools, industry development, available components, and technologies in robotics, robotization of various industries, and others.
The Large and Small Halls of the Aquarium Hotel hosted exhibitor’s technical seminars , where experts presented their own production technologies and shared their professional experiences. During the official visit to the event, A. A. Zarenin also took part as a speaker in the round table “Software and hardware systems. The development of the industry today is the technological independence of the country in the future”, where he told the audience about the current measures of state support for developers and manufacturers of software and hardware systems.
