Technologies, equipment and materials for electronic manufacturing section has almost doubled in size this year with new companies representing test and measurement equipment, industrial furniture and clothing, cleanroom equipment and electronics manufacturing base materials. For the first time this year, 40 manufacturers and suppliers from China are participating in this sector.
Consortium of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems will present an exposition of domestic solutions in the field of robotics within the exhibition. The exhibition will serve as a working platform for the participants to showcase their products and discuss current issues in the industry.
For the first time, visitors will be able to see an exposition dedicated to information technologies and digital solutions. The symbiosis of the electronics industry and information technologies opens up new opportunities for the joint development and implementation of large-scale projects by high-tech companies.
The exhibition of IT and digital solutions is attended by 30 Russian companies, including Russian suppliers of software and hardware and systems for industrial automation, developers of engineering software, developers and suppliers of solutions in the field of information technology security, design and implementation of secure IT infrastructure, developers and manufacturers of specialized packages, Russian manufacturers of computer equipment and computing systems, developers and suppliers of equipment for communication, navigation, landing, surveillance and automation of air traffic control and many others.
Electronica Award
The Awards are designed to recognise the achievements of Russian companies in the field of electronics. For nominees, participation in the Awards is an additional opportunity to receive quality feedback from professionals, colleagues and consumers of their products.
The Awards will host 22 nominees across 7 award categories including: Electronic Technologies and Production Tools, Electronic Component Base, Microelectronics, Distribution, Localisation, Industry Training and Production Outsourcing.
The winners will be chosen by an independent panel of experts and the show community through online voting on the website. The results will be announced on 18 April on the Electronica Arena, Hall 11, Pavilion 2.
Business programme
This year, the events of the exhibition's conference programme will take place in three venues located directly in the exhibition halls: Electronics Arena, Digital Arena and Robo Arena, as well as in the conference halls of Pavilion 2. The three-day programme will feature more than 40 industry events attended by representatives from government and public organisations, as well as senior executives from leading companies. The business programme will include formats such as thematic sessions, round table discussions, scientific and technical seminars, and others.
New to this year's conference programme is the Digital Arena, where industry experts will discuss topical issues at the intersection of electronics and information technologies. Sessions will include Artificial Intelligence, Computing, Smart Electronics, Smart City and Efficient Digital Solutions. The Smart City Competence Centre will host an Industry Day on 18 April.
This year the Russian Microelectronics Forum will be one of the key partners of the ExpoElectronica conference programme. The development of Russian microelectronics is one of the most important priorities of the electronics industry. That's why the conference programme of the first day of the exhibition on 16 April will be opened by a review and analysis session of the Russian Microelectronics Forum in the Electronics Arena. The collaboration between the two largest events in the industry is set to mark a new round in the development of the Russian electronics industry. Sessions on domestic CAD and Russian-Chinese cooperation in electronics technology development will be held in the Electronica Arena on the second day.
The main event in the Robo Arena will be the plenary session "Robotics in Russia 2030", where speakers will discuss the development of domestic robotics and the regulatory framework for the industry, as well as presentations of robotic solutions for various industries, a debate on "AI and Robotics - Myths and Reality", and other events.
Technical seminars for participants will be held on 16 and 17 April in Hall M (6th hall, 1st floor) and Blue Hall (3rd floor).
